The Story:
The Thundercats lived on a planet called Thundera. One day,
the planet was in danger and they had to abandon it. Only a few made it to the spaceship; Liono, Panthro, Cheetara,
Jaga, Wily Kit, Wily Kat, Snarf, and Tygra. While in space they were attacked by the mutants, and Liono was just a young
boy. The Thundercats fought off the mutants, but would still have other problems. The trip to third earth would
be a long one, so they would have to go into the hibernation chambers, (Glass and metal cases that preserve living bodies
for long periods of time). Jaga did not enter a chamber because he would pilot the ship, since he was so old he wouldn't
have made the trip anyway, not even in a hibernation chamber. When they were almost there, Jaga engaged the autopilot
and left the ship to go to the planet. He then died. The spaceship crash-landed and was permanently
damaged. When the Thundercats awoke, they had arrived and began unloading and salvaging what they still could from
the spaceship. During the trip, Liono had matured physically; he was bigger, stronger, and older.
However, Jaga still gave him guidiance, because though he had matured physically, he missed the experiences that would
have helped him to mature mentally. Panthro took salvaged parts from the spaceship and built the thundertank and
the cat's lair as a form of defense. Liono then vowed that as the new leader of the Thundercats, that he would
be a good leader and build a new empire, and that He would follow the code of Thundera: Justice, Truth, Honor, Loyalty.
