It is the year 2071. Humanity has extended its people into space, and colonized Mars, along with several other planets.
As a result, however, there is lawlessness everywhere. The old-timers call the youngsters the "Cowboy Bebop" generation, because
they wander the stars like cowboys in the wild west did so long ago. And, to make fun of the jazz music these youngsters enjoy.
At any rate, anyone who isn't a criminal in this newly-formed world is a bounty hunter who captures them; a very profitable
business, too. Hackers, Drug Dealers, Murderers, all brought to justice. And, for a large fee. Crime does pay -- for the bounty
hunters!
